Mrs. Annie Martin, aged 80 years, died on January 2. She was a sister of the late John Lee. She leaves three children. The funeral will be on Tuesday Jan 5 by Elder Oliphant, burial at Smartsburg at 1 o’clock. – kbz

Mrs. Anna Martin died this morning at 9 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wisehart, at Smartsburg. She was born in Butler County, Ohio, on March 2, 1812, and came to this county when she was eight years of age. She was a daughter of Rev. John Lee, and married Abia Martin on March 10, 1831. She was the mother of ten children, three daughters are now living. The funeral will be at the Baptist Church at Smartsburg, services to be conducted by Rev. J. H. Oliphant. Burial will be at the Lee graveyard.
